Cherry Blossom

What could be better than a cocktail with Canadian whiskey that is reminiscent of Christmas but tastes great all year round?

40 ml James E. Pepper 1776 rye whiskey
30 ml Morrand Kirsch
10 ml Tempus Fugit crème de cacao
1 Dash Angostura bitters

Preparation: Stirred. Optionally garnished with cherry.

If you search the internet for “Cherry Blossom”, you will find numerous different drinks. So the name is unfortunately not unique. The version we present comes from Jamie Boudreau, from the„Canon“ in Seattle. He reports that he was inspired to make this autumnal drink by his childhood memories. The highlight of Christmas for him was a Canadian Christmas treat: large chocolate-covered maraschino cherries.

it its prime characteristic, and has made it a great
favorite with the ladies. When ordering this one

About

Hi, I'm Armin and in my spare time I want to promote bar culture as a blogger, freelance journalist and Bildungstrinker (you want to know what the latter is? Then check out "About us"). My focus is on researching the history of mixed drinks. If I have ever left out a source you know of, and you think it should be considered, I look forward to hearing about it from you to learn something new. English is not my first language, but I hope that the translated texts are easy to understand. If there is any incomprehensibility, please let me know so that I can improve it.
