Alejandro

Alejandro.

There are some delicious variants in the Alexander family. Among them is a version from the Chug Club with aged tequila, which is highly recommended.

30 ml Milenario Anejo tequila
30 ml Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao a la Vanille
30 ml cream
grated nutmeg as garnish

Preparation: Shaken, garnish with grated nutmeg.

In January 2016, we visited the Chug Club There is a focus on tequila there, so it is not surprising that this spirit is preferred. We were served a particularly delicious Alexander by Bettina Kupsa and Johann Wader as dessert, with a matured tequila instead of the usual brandy. What could be more natural than to call this Mexican Alexander variant by its Spanish name: Alejandro.

The Alejandro is in no way inferior to a classic Brandy Alexander, so it was obvious for us to remix it and share our recipe with you.

About

Hi, I'm Armin and in my spare time I want to promote bar culture as a blogger, freelance journalist and Bildungstrinker (you want to know what the latter is? Then check out "About us"). My focus is on researching the history of mixed drinks. If I have ever left out a source you know of, and you think it should be considered, I look forward to hearing about it from you to learn something new. English is not my first language, but I hope that the translated texts are easy to understand. If there is any incomprehensibility, please let me know so that I can improve it.
